Badlapur movie is driven by the feeling of revenge.In this, a man takes revenge as he lost his wife and kid. They are accidently died in a bank robbery by Layak(Nawaz) and his partner Hurman(Vinay Pathak). After one of the robbers, Laik (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) has caught by the police. In the mean time, Raghu tries to concentrate the name of Layak's accomplice however futile. Following 15 years, a NGO worker, Shobha (Divya Dutta), shows up at Raghu's doorstep, advising him that Layak is passing on because of Cancer and argues to Raghu to outfit a apologize letter so Layak can spend his remaining days of his life in the open. Through Layak's mother, Raghu gets to know the whereabouts of Hurman and chooses to forget Layak. Before long Layak is liberated, however Raghu follows Hurman and his wife Kanchan( Radhika Apte) tormenting them mentally before killing them. Before long Layak tries to contact Hurman for his offer of cash from robbery, thus encounters Raghu and gets to realize that his companion has been killed.
What’s good?
The movie is brilliantly directed by Sriram Raghavan. The best job is done by Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Varun Dhawan's angry young man avtar is just awesome.
